Today we decided to try YaYa’s Euro Bistro at the suggestion of one of my coworkers. I went online and made our reservations earlier in the week – they use OpenTable, which makes reservations incredibly easy. When you walk into YaYa’s you are greeted by a very refined looking restaurant and cheerful smiles. YaYa’s has the feeling of a classy restaurant without any of the stigma (I was wearing my favorite pair of sweatpants tucked into my snowboots). I was sat at my reserved table immediately and ordered a coffee as I awaited my compatriots. Joey was next, and he started the beginning of the end by ordering a bottomless mimosa ($8, might I add – an excellent deal), and I quickly followed suit.
Once the rest of the club had arrived, our waitress kindly explained how YaYa’s brunch works: most of the food was buffet style (veggies, fruit, pasta, prime rib, crab legs, potatoes, eggs, bacon, sausage, omelets, etc.), while the specialty french toasts, eggs benedict, and pancakes would all be ordered through our waitress. The best part? Everything is unlimited.
The buffet food was all pretty good, though the custom pancakes, french toast, and eggs benedict were especially good. My personal favorite was the s’mores stuffed french toast (so sweet, but so good!).
